Hello and thank you for stopping by to learn about our workamper program. This is for a voluntary position. We do not have paid positions available. We are a small campground with 92 sites located in Northwest Michigan. We have a variety of sites that include tents, water/electric, and full hookup. We have back-in, pull-in, and pull-through sites. We are a very clean safe park that enforce all of our policies to ensure that our park stays this way. What can you expect being a workamper at our park? 1. Respect - we respect our workampers as we work right along with you. We are privately owned and owner managed. 2. You will receive a full hookup site located on an interior site. All workamper sites have both 30 and 50 amp service. 3. All electric is paid by the campground. We just ask that this not be abused. 4. All store items are at our cost. You can even order direct from our wholesalers at cost, but you would need to pay shipping if ordered outside the time of our main order at the beginning of the season. 5. Free use of the laundry 1X per week, no more than 2 loads. 6. Of course, free use of all campground facilities including the heated pool. 7. Each couple workampers will receive two campground shirts for free for a total of 4. (single workampers will receive 4) 8. You will be located right in the middle of all the hot areas in Northwest Michigan. Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Gaylord, Torch Lake, Kalkaska, Bellaire, Grayling, and more. Most of these areas are between 20-42 milies from the park. Mackinac Bridge is 82 miles. What do we expect from you? 1. All workampers are required to work 30 hrs per week. A. Couples will work 2 days a week at 7 hrs per day. (yes we know this is shy of 30 hrs. We do this for the 4th of July weekend as we will request a few extra hours during this Holiday.) Couples work same days, and same hours so both are off at the same time. (only 1 person in the store at a time) B. Single workampers are a bit different and we will work with you on the hours to best fit your needs and the needs of the park. The last single workamper wanted all inside work and only weekends. Again, we will work with you on this. 2. All workampers regardless of working inside or outside are customer facing. Must be professional at all times. 3. We will be requesting pictures of both yourself and your RV. Yes, we have restrictions on the appearance of the RV. We do  not have restrictions on the age as I am a fan of the well taken care of classics. 4. All workampers will follow all campground policies. 5. Yes, we will train new workampers. 6. Yes, we allow pets. 7. All workampers must arrive by May 15th and stay until Sept 15th. I hope that I have answered most of your questions. If not, please let me know. Email is the best way to reach me at this time and you can do this at info@wprvresort.com   I highly suggest going through our website to see if we are the right park for you. If you believe we are, EXCELLENT!, we want to hear from you. If not, we understand and hope that you come by and say hello if you are in the area.
